Out gay boxer Yusaf Mack has been caught on camera attacking a man who he says made homophobic remarks.

Mack was filmed in LA Clippers shop in Philadelphia on Saturday evening.

Paramedics were called to the scene at the barber shop.

Mack says he went to the shop to confront the man face to face after being on the receiving end of homophobic abuse online.

“I rather have a video of some beating me up then a video of someone seeing me take a d*** up my a** any day,” the victim wrote on Facebook.

He said he planned to attack Mack back, saying: “Me and him gonna fight again.”

Mack came out as gay live on air, back in 2015.

The story began after it was revealed the sports star had appeared in a gay adult film – though he claimed he was drugged and violated by the adult film company which produced the video.

Throughout the controversy, the sportsman stated that he was not attracted to men.

“My whole life, I’ve been what they call a whoremonger. I love females. The only time I touch a man is when I’m in the ring fighting,” he told Philly.com.

However, he swiftly retracted the claim after DawgPoundUSA.com threatened to sue, saying he was fully conscious and willing throughout the performance – before coming out as bisexual.
