George Michael’s loved ones have broken into a row about his funeral arrangements.

It’s been reported that his boyfriend is banned from the funeral.

The Wham! star’s cousin, Andros Georgiou, claims that Fadi Fawaz, his boyfriend, will not be allowed to attend because the Michael family “hate him”.

Georgiou blasted the late singer’s boyfriend, saying: “Fadi has not been invited to the funeral.

“He is not welcome, the family hate him. Heaven help him if he turned up.

“Fadi was not really his boyfriend. No one has spoken to him and he just seems to be getting on with his life. It makes my stomach turn.”

But now Fawaz has hit back at the claims, insisting he will be at the funeral.

He wrote on Twitter: “That someone who is saying all this rubbish about the funeral has not been part of George’s life for 19 years.

“Can we cut the crap now for once and for all.

“Let’s have some respect for George (the poor man). George’s family are very loving respectful and decent people, there is nothing more to say.”

The date of the funeral is still unknown, as toxicology reports into the star’s death continue.

It’s thought the results of the investigation won’t be out until as late as March, despite him having passed away on Christmas Day last year.

Police are treating the death as unexplained but non-suspicious

Authorities are now also investigating how Fadi Fawaz’s 999 call came to be leaked.

Meanwhile in the US, Adele pad a moving tribute to the singer with a performance at the Grammys.
