Lady Gaga nailed it last night in the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Rumours had been swirling about the superstar’s performance for weeks – and what she had in store was just as brilliant as the hype suggested.
Gaga dived from the roof of the stadium into her performance, after opening with Woody Guthrie’s civil rights anthem This Land Is Your Land.
However Gaga avoided any explicitly political stunts in her performance.
The performance was unashamedly patriotic performance, though, which many read as a subtle message to the 45th POTUS that liberals can be patriots too.
“No matter black, white or beige… I was born to be brave,” she sang to an expected US TV audience of 110 million.
