Courtney Act went to Donald Trump’s inauguration and it was brilliant

Drag Race star Courtney Act was in DC Friday to attend the inauguration of President Trump – and it didn’t disappoint.

The former RuPaul contestant wanted to find out what made the Trump backers tick, along with the thousands protesting the event.

Donald J. Trump became the 45th president last week, in a ceremony that saw smaller crowds than many previous inaugurations.

But there were still enough people for Ms Act to find some gems.

One Trump supporter proudly brandished a flag reading “Hillary for president 2016”.

Despite being a year out of date by now, the woman seemed delighted with her flag – until asked why the former presidential candidate should go to prison.

“Benghazi,” she said, before a long pause.

It’s not her first foray into a Trump event, after attending one of his rallies during the campaign.

“I know that when I went to the Trump rally in Connecticut I said that it would be my first and hopefully only Trump rally.

“Today we’re not at a Trump rally, we’re at a Trump inauguration,” she said, reluctantly.

I just woke up and the 20 seconds of half asleep, half awake, when I didn't know who I am or where I was, was bliss….

Courtney Act previously shared her STI test results for the cameras in her video series.

The 45th president has also created fears about axing LGBT outreach.

Caitlyn Jenner posted last week that Republicans “need help” understanding LGBT issues, offering herself to help.
