The preview of a new series of America’s Next Top Model features an unexpected same-sex kiss between two contestants.
On the preview of the episode set to air on VH1 on Monday 16 January, Marissa Hopkins and Kyle McCoy sharing an intimate moment.
McCoy describes herself as a queer intersectional feminist.
She tells the camera in the new series featuring Rita Ora and Ashley Graham: “There’s a lot of drama in the house right now. I just want to go and get away from all of them. I didn’t expect to necessarily hit it off with anybody in this house.
“Marissa is only 18 — almost 19-years-old — but very confident in the fact that she has a somewhat alternative sexuality, and she has really no hesitation with any of that.”

Earlier this year a contestant on the Bachelor opened up about a previous same-sex relationship, in a first for the series.
Back in 2014, America’s Next Top Model had its first deaf contestant – Nyle DiMarco who has since wooed pretty much everyone with his ‘gay’ sign language.
