There’s bad news for Will and grace fans as the apparently confirmed return of the show has been revealed as untrue.

It had been said that ten episodes were due to be made this summer.

Will and Grace star Leslie Jordan, who played Beverly Leslie on the show, made the claim speaking to radio station KPBS.

Jordan said that the television network NBC has ordered ten new episodes to begin filming in July next year.

During the short radio clip at around 5 minutes in, Jordan confirms that filming will begin in 2017.

However show lead Debra Messing has said the actor was just messing with us.

The rumoured eps are not in the making at all.

The news comes after Megan Mullally, who plays Karen Walker, said there was a ‘very real chance’ the hit show would return to our screens earlier this month.

While doing the press rounds for new movie ‘Why Him?’ the former Karen Walker actress claimed there was “a very real chance” the show could return with new episodes.

Mullally said: “So speaking theoretically, in a completely made-up world where Will & Grace is coming back to NBC for ten episodes – just in that made-up world – it couldn’t be a better time.

“Well, OK. All I can say is that there is a very good chance that that might happen,” the two-time Emmy winner added.

“It’s not happening right this second.

“I mean, we’re not rehearsing or anything like that.

“But there is a very good chance that something is going to materialise.”

The exact plans for the reunion won’t be known for sometime, though, as she’s keeping tight lipped about the show’s potential.

“But I can’t really talk about it or say anything, because you know how it is,” Mullally added.
