Leslie Jordan just confirmed the Will and Grace return
Will and Grace star Leslie Jordan, who played Beverly Leslie on the show, just confirmed the return of Will and Grace.
Speaking to radio station KPBS, Jordan said that the television network NBC has ordered ten new episodes to begin filming in July next year.
“>During the short interview, Jordan confirms that filming will begin in 2017.
However since these claims were made, Debra Messing has revealed some bad news.
While doing the press rounds for new movie ‘Why Him?’ the former Karen Walker actress claimed there was “a very real chance” the show could return with new episodes.
Mullally said: “So speaking theoretically, in a completely made-up world where Will & Grace is coming back to NBC for ten episodes – just in that made-up world – it couldn’t be a better time.
“Well, OK. All I can say is that there is a very good chance that that might happen,” the two-time Emmy winner added.
“It’s not happening right this second. I mean, we’re not rehearsing or anything like that.
“But there is a very good chance that something is going to materialize.”
The exact plans for the reunion won’t be known for sometime, though, as she’s keeping tight lipped about the show’s potential.
“But I can’t really talk about it or say anything, because you know how it is,” Mullally added.
The show’s long-anticipated revival was originally commissioned for just 10 episodes, but in a show of confidence NBC has extended the order to 12.
Will & Grace star Debra Messing has also hinted that the show’s revival will feature transgender issues.

When it was originally on the air, the show was frequently criticised for its poor portrayal of lesbians and bisexuals while focusing on gay men.
The show will also address the Trump administration, after an election-themed episode that aired last year.
Last year, Messing said she regrets that the show did not go on for longer.
She also recently shared a touching note from gay flight attendant who says the show “helped him come out”.
The cast starred in a very musical trailer ahead of the revival of the show, earlier this year.
