Mike Pence won’t be happy his new neighbours have put up LGBT flags
Vice President elect Mike Pence got a surprise from his new neighbours – when they erected rainbow flags outside their houses.
His new Washington neighbours were keen to show their disagreement by using the rainbow flags to call out his anti LGBT equality views.
Trump’s VP doesn’t move into his official residence, the Naval Observatory, until after taking office.
Until then Mr Pence is renting a $6,000-a-month home in Chevy Chase, a desirable neighbourhood in the Northwest of DC.
Reporter Suzanne Kennedy, from DC’s ABC 7 channel, posted a pic of the rainbow flags online.

There are now half a dozen pride flags flying on the street, according to CNN.
“A respectful message showing, in my case, my disagreement with some of his thinking,” Ilse Heintzen, a local resident, said of her rainbow flag.
“I have no idea what [the vice president elect] will think about, but I hope he will change his mind,” she added.
It’s not the first protest at the VP-elect’s views on LGBT rights.
Broadway told him what they think of him with a speech following the show Hamilton, which he and his family attended, meanwhile some in the audience booed him.
