Anti-equality group the American Family Association (AFA) has launched a ‘naughty or nice’ list of stores that you should shop in or avoid this Christmas.

The organisation that continually attacks the LGBT community said some shops should be avoided due to “secular forces”.

In a statement, the fundamentalists argued people in the country hate Christmas because it is a reminder of Christ.

“There are secular forces in our country that hate Christmas because the word itself is a reminder of Jesus Christ,” it said.

“They want to eradicate anything that reminds Americans of Christianity.

“That is why it is important to remind governments and companies to keep the word Christmas alive. AFA wants to keep Christ in Christmas and Christmas in America.”

The list ranks companies on their use of the word Christmas and how much they have secularised the holiday.

The naughty list includes well-known bookstore, Barnes and Noble and fashion retailer, Gap.

The nice list includes JC Penney, QVC and Toys-R-Us.

Some, such as Starbucks and Amazon, were deemed to be marginal.

Last week, the group also launched another attack on Target for their transgender changing room policy.

It said people shouldn’t shop in the store this Christmas because sexual predators would harm children and to boycott it would cost the company business.

Senior Vice President of the AFA, Buddy Smith, said: “Let’s hold firm to our conviction that men have no place in women’s restrooms and dressing rooms and continue our pledge to boycott Target stores, especially through the Christmas shopping season.”

In July, the organisation slammed an advert by Hilton that showed a same-sex couple in bed together.

They also demanded that the United States stop not fund HIV programmes and just tell gay people not to have sex.
