1. Throwing Shade

A weekly podcast hosted by Erin Gibson and Bryan Safi who discuss women’s issues, gay rights, politics and pop culture. The pair met while performing at the Upright Citizens Brigande in L.A. and debuted their first episode in 2011. Their main focus is to address issues ‘affecting ladies and gays’.

2. Ramble Redhead

Ramble Redhead has been running since 2005 and is hosted and produced by an unnamed gay man living in the States. He says the point of the podcast is to share his thoughts, victories and mistakes so others can learn from them. The podcast features interviews with members of the LGBT community and has been nominated for several awards.

3. Straight Talk with Ross Matthews

Since his debut as ‘Ross the Intern’ on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2001, Ross Matthews has gone on to write a book and host Hollywood Today Live. His weekly podcast, which began in 2014, allows us insight into his views on the news of the week and the entertainment industry while he also gives advice to listeners.

8. Cocktails and Creampuffs

For all you pervs out there, the boys of Cocktails and Creampuffs, Joey Bucheker, Marc Sacco and Matthew Crehan Higgins discuss the intimate details of their lives. 9. Savage Lovecast

LGBT activist, Dan Savage started writing his sex advice column ‘Savage Love’ in 1991. 15 years later, in October 2006, he began recording a podcast supplement to the column (hence Savage Lovecast) which features telephone advice sessions.

10. Transition Transmission

The hosts, who call themselves the ‘Transgender Trio’, consist of Amber Neko, Alexandria Tribby and Ramona Knotts.
