Comedian Wanda Sykes booed off stage after Donald Trump rant

American comedian Wanda Sykes has been booed off stage at a charity even in Boston over the weekend after ‘going on a rant’ about President-elect, Donald Trump.
Sykes, an outspoken Hillary Clinton supporter, was performing at the 22nd annual Comics Come Home fundraiser when she began her Trump take-down.
“After the election, I was going around consoling people. I said, ‘Guys, look on the bright side … I was telling everybody, ‘It’s OK. It’s gonna be OK.’ I am certain this is not the first time we’ve elected a racist, sexist, homophobic president. He ain’t the first one, he’s just the first confirmed one,” Sykes said.
“Everybody was just saying, ‘Oh, well, he just has to learn how to be more presidential, he just has to learn how to control his temper. He has to learn how to be more mild-mannered.’ I have a seven-year-old boy, those are the things I’m teaching him. Donald Trump is 70. That motherfucker isn’t learning shit. That’s just who he is. He’s the crazy man.”
Five minutes into the 52-year-old’s set, the audience began booing to which Sykes replied with, “Fuck you, motherfucker, fuck all of y’all.”
“How can you say he’s not a racist? ’Grab them by the pussy’? How can you say he’s not sexist? How can you not say he’s homophobic?” a frustrated Sykes asked the audience.
Last year Sykes revealed people ‘treated her like a unicorn’ when she came out.
As the booing continued, Sykes reportedly raised her middle finger to the audience.
Twitter user, Sam DeGreen was in the audience and tweeted a video of Syke’s rant captioned, “Wanda Sykes booed in Boston. Goes on anti-Trump rant. Insults Trump and his supporters. No jokes just a rant.”

Event host Denis Leary told The Boston Herald the comedians were ‘free to speak their mind’ at the event.
“For 22 years we have never censored any performer at Comics Come Home,” Leary said. “Each comedian is free to speak their mind. This has resulted in the longest running stand-up charity event in America.”
