Actor Gerard Butler surprised fellow party guests with his Game of Thrones themed get up.

Gerard Butler may have won a legion of gay fans after starring as a scantily-clad Spartan in action epic 300, but that looks set to change following his most recent outfit choice.

The actor baffled and offended as he arrived at a Halloween bash in LA dressed in a Game of Thrones inspired-costume.

Butler left fellow guests bemused after wearing a cape emblazoned with the words ‘Gay Me of Thrones’, with some Twitter users branding him “tasteless” and others labelling the costume as “homophobic”.

Reports also suggest the actor spent the majority of the party in his underwear – possibly due to his poor taste to attire…

Sadly, Butler’s outfit was not the only costume to offend over the Halloween season, after Walmart was forced to pull down a “granny t****y” outfit after customer complaints.

Luckily, a whole host of famous faces were also on hand to entertain their fans with an array of flawless outfits last weekend.
