X-Men’s Iceman finally picks up a date Staff Writer September 15, 2016

Ice man from the Marvel series, X-Men, has appeared embracing his sexuality for the first time since he came out last year.

Bobby Drake hits a gay bar in a new edition of the comic, X-Men #13, where teammates Oya and Genesis help him chat-up some boys.

Not going well at first, he accidentally ‘ices up’ and runs out the bar, humiliated.

Not all is lost however, as our sub-zero hero bumps into Romeo and the two hit it off.

As expected the story takes bit of a twist and things don’t quite go how the pair would hope.

Despite the trials and tribulations, however, Bobby still manages to get Romeo’s number…YEY!

Ice man’s coming out has been one of the most interesting of all comic book characters in the Marvel universe.

Despite being introduced in 1963, any straight relationship he seems to have had has never ended well.

Last year, Shawn Ashmore, who plays Iceman in the films said he’d be happy to play the character as a gay man.
