PinkNews Live: Submit your questions for Jeremy Corbyn and Owen Smith

Joseph McCormick August 27, 2016

PinkNews readers can now submit their questions for Jeremy Corbyn and Owen Smith for upcoming live Q&A interviews.

Mr Corbyn is currently running for re-election as leader of the Labour Party, amid a challenge from the former Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Owen Smith.

As polls open this week, both contenders are set to take part in live interviews with PinkNews.

Mr Corbyn’s Q&A will take place at 16:00 BST on Wednesday 31 August followed by Mr Smith’s Q&A on Thursday 1 September at 16:00.

While the interviews will be streamed live on Facebook, we are asking our readers to submit some of the questions in advance.

PinkNews CEO Benjamin Cohen said: “We are really excited to give PinkNews readers from across the UK the ability to question the candidates for leader of the Labour Party in realtime.

“At a moment of huge change for the UK in the wake of Brexit, this is an important opportunity to ensure that the many LGBT and diversity policy needs are not forgotten.”
