A Texas man was enticed to a threesome on a gay hook-up app – only to be robbed and murdered.

The body of 53-year-old Texan man Kevin Moyer was found naked and wrapped in a sheet in the backseat of a car outside Houston in April 2014.

Beaumont gay couple Arthur Christopher Harmon, 23, and Yiannis Nikolaos Mihail, 33, face murder charges over the killing of the travelling salesman.

A third man, Cody Lewis, recently pleaded guilty for his involvement in the killing.

A court heard this week that the thugs used gay hook-up app Jack’d to lure Moyer to their home – intending to rob him.

However, he was instead murdered in a violent attack. According to authorities, a mop, pellet rifle and a bloodied knife have all been recovered in connection with the incident.

Authorities have ruled out hate crime charges in the case as Harmon and Mihail are gay themselves.

Officials told the court: “They communicated [with Moyer] on a website and then met up that night for a possible relationship.”

The trial continues.
