Someone has done something pretty ingenious to Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star

As Donald Trump prepares to officially accept the Republican nomination to become President, someone has finally given him the wall he always wanted.

Trump has often spoken of building a wall between the US and Mexico, and has been heavily criticised for the suggestion, as well as saying Muslims should be banned from entering the US.

He was criticised for suggesting that Mexicans coming to the US are often illegal immigrants and drug smugglers.

But today, tourists were confronted with a much smaller wall around Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 6-inch tall grey wall featured ‘keep out’ signs and wire.

The installation was created by an artist called Plastic Jesus’ who says he is influenced by the news, and culture.

The artist is known for posting ‘No Trump Anytime’ signs on street corners.

Senior Republicans earlier this week resorted to quoting My Little Pony to defend Donald Trump’s wife from accusations of plagiarism.

Melania Trump, the third wife of GOP Presidential hopeful Donald Trump, was accused of stealing parts of a speech she delivered at the Republican National Convention.

Trump blasted Queen songs at the Republican National Convention; just days after unveiling an extreme anti-LGBT choice for Vice President.

The Presidential hopeful also awkwardly tried to kiss his VP running mate at Republican National Convention.

Trump recently appointed Indiana’s anti-LGBT Governor Mike Pence as his running mate. Pence stirred up international outrage last year when he signed the controversial ‘Religious Freedom Restoration Act’, which gives businesses the right to discriminate against gay people on the grounds of religion.

Governor Pence has previously suggested that HIV prevention funding be drained in order to fund state-sponsored ‘gay cure’ therapy, and earlier this year appeared unable to answer when asked whether it should be legal to fire people because of their sexuality.
