Police are seeking to speak to a man who pulled a gun out, pointed it at another man and used racist and homophobic slurs.

The man, who posts on Twitter using the handle @binswanson, shared the video in which he pulls out the gun at a man exiting a shop.

He calls the man “gay as hell”, and says he is a “dick-in-the-booty-ass n******s”.

The victim, who is also being sought by police, runs away after he sees the man filming draw the gun.

Many Twitter users took to the microblogging site to condemn @binswanson, the account which posted the video, tweets from which are now protected.

But before he did, he posted another tweet saying “I don’t give a fuck about none of that shit y’all saying… I hate gay n****s.”

Fox 2 Detroit reports that police are now investigating the video, and are seeking to speak to both the perpetrator and the victim.

“To think that somebody would be so brazen that they could point the weapon in the face of an unsuspecting citizen and then post it on social media as if the Detroit police are going to stand idling by and do nothing,” Detroit Police Sgt. Michael Woody tells the station.
