Gay reality show Finding Prince Charming will be a ‘Bachelor’ clone with a difference

There will finally be a gay version of The Bachelor.

Gay cable channel LogoTV, home of RuPaul’s Drag Race, has commissioned the upcoming reality show Finding Prince Charming.

According to a statement from Logo, the show features 13 handsome suitors living together in a house and competing for the heart of a gorgeous Bachelor Prince.

Hold up… they’re shacking up single 13 gay guys together in a house? And expecting them to all just wait for the one designated “nation’s most eligible gay heartthrob”?

Well that sounds like a good idea that definitely couldn’t go wrong in any way.

Pamela Post, SVP of Original Programming for Logo, said: “Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture.

“Finding Prince Charming will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do.”

Former NSYNC singer Lance Bass is set to host the show, which is being produced by Brian Graden Media.

Bass is no stranger to TV attention – filming his own wedding and airing it as a reality show last year.

‘Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding’ featured the singer’s nuptials with long-term partner Michael Turchin, airing a few months before last year’s Supreme Court ruling on equal marriage.

Finding Prince Charming will air on Logo this autumn.
