PinkNews takes a slighlty NSFW look at some at the strangest and scariest laws that still exist across the globe.

1 London – no sex on a motorcycle

In London, it’s illegal to have sex on a parked motorcycle.

2 Hong Kong – hell hath no fury…

Over in Hong Kong, if a man cheats on his wife, she is permitted to kill him – but only with her bare hands. Gentlemen, you have been warned.

3 Wisconsin – out of sight, out of mind

The first of a few questionable US entries – sodomy and beastality are fine in this state, but only if it isn’t “observable”.

4 Thailand – bitch, please!

In Thailand, it’s illegal to have sex with a female dog – but you’ll face an even harsher sentence if the dog is in heat.

5 China – naked truth

A woman is not allowed to be naked in a hotel room – except when she’s in the bathroom… obviously!

6 Alabama – batteries not included

Sex toys are completely illegal in this state – bummer.

7 Lebanon – no words

Bestiality is apparently still legal here – unless, of course, its with a male animal.

8 Sweden – say cheese!

Although you can pose topless in photo booths, the Swedish won’t allow you to take a cheeky pic of your private parts.

9 California – not today, Satan!

Unless you’re wearing a condom. In Bakersfield, it’s forbidden to have sex with the devil – unless you use protection.

10 Minnesota – something smells fishy

In Minnesota, it’s against the law to have sex with a live fish. Dead ones, on the other hand… excuse us while we go projectile vomit.

11 Minnesota (again) – sleeping beauty

No sleeping in the nude here either – best go get yourself a new onesie!

12 Maryland – get a room!

You aren’t allowed to kiss for more than a minute in public here – better be quick!

13 Indonesia – no going solo

Masturbation is banned in the country and could see you locked up for a total of 32 months.

14 Michigan – put a ring on it

No shacking up — or as they call it, lewd and lascivious cohabiting — allowed in Michigan. You could be imprisoned for a year and fined $1,000.

15 Dubai – marital bliss

Extramarital sex could see you thrown in prison in Dubai – best not, eh?

16 Budapest – lights out

No sex with the lights on in Budapest – at least you’ll save on the energy bills.

17 Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Comoros, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Malawi, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, India, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine/Gaza Strip, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago

All of these countries operate anti-gay laws – with at least ten still making homosexuality punishable by death.
