Donald Trump says he supports ‘the gays’ at a rally – ‘the gays’ respond perfectly

Republican Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has said Hillary Clinton would be a worse president than him for gay people.

Donald Trump – who opposes transgender rights, would appoint justices to repeal equal marriage and opposes federal anti-discrimination protections – has already multiple times this week claimed that he is a “real friend” to the LGBT community, and better than Hillary Clinton.

Claiming that he would be better for the LGBT community than Clinton as President, he said “ask the gays”, about Saudi Arabia, alleging that she has received funding from there.

Speaking about “the gays”, Trump said: “Ask the gays what they think and what they do, in, not only Saudi Arabia, but many of these countries, and then you tell me – who’s your friend Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton?”

Of course social media responded hilariously, with many people posting memes and gifs mocking Trump for the assertion that he would be better than Clinton.

50 people were killed and 53 injured on Sunday in a shocking terrorist hate crime attack, which saw a gunman open fire inside The Pulse gay bar in Orlando, Florida.

ISIS has since claimed responsibility for the attack, which was perpetrated by US citizen Omar Mateen. The majority of the victims were Latino.

Trump immediately caused controversy on the issue, saying he was a “real friend” to the LGBT community, not Hillary Clinton, and by saying that President Obama was complicit in the deaths because “he doesn’t get it or he gets it better than anyone understands.”
