WATCH: Adele breaks down as she dedicates concert to Orlando victims
Adele dedicated the first of her three nights in Antwerp to the people killed and injured at the Pulse night club shootings in Orlando.
The singer thanked the audience for coming to her show, before breaking down into tears on the stage.
In the short but emotional speech she described the close connection she feels with many members of the LGBT community, adding that the incident in Orlando had really moved her.
The singer said: “Thank you so much for coming to my show. I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.”
She added: “The LGBTQI community are like my soulmates, since I was really young so I’m pretty moved by it.”
Before moving on to the concert the 28 year old mocked herself for crying on stage. “I don’t know why I’m crying already because most of tonight is pretty miserable, because most of my songs are f***ing miserable.” she said.

The singer previously dedicated shows to victims of the Brussels terrorist attacks.
She joins hundreds of celebrities offering their sympathy and prayers to victims of the Orlando shooting.
