Mexico’s first ever advert featuring a gay couple has premiered, and it is super cute.

The new Colgate toothpaste ad features a gay couple taking the steps to move in together.

It features the highs and lows of the journey as the couple unload their furniture together, inevitably getting stuck on the stairs with their sofa.

It debuts ahead of gay pride celebrations across Mexico, and comes with the tag line #SmileWithPride.

The couple also face the fear of bumping into their new neighbours, an older man and a young boy.

But it ends with happiness as the neighbours pitch in and help the couple move in.

Last Christmas, this advert won praise from viewers for its casual inclusion of a same-sex couple in the festive period.

The latest advert for hardware chain Robert Dyas caused nothing but confusion on its release.

The ad, which features staff and customers at the store discussing their sexuality, was quietly put out on the chain’s official Facebook page earlier this month – leaving viewers unsure if it was a parody, or the most earnest advert ever.

“I’m gay,” a man holding a miniature light-up Christmas tree declares, “…and I love shopping at Robert Dyas”.

Robert Dyas, viewers are subsequently informed, is a place where “gays and straights can buy drills and much much more”.

Meanwhile, a cute gay couple got engaged onstage during Years & Years gig and Kesha WEPT as she saw two fans get engaged at her concert.
