Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson wickedly owned the evil witch of the sea role in her performance of The Little Mermaid.
The all singing all dancing cast of the live show included Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Tituss Burgess as Sebastian the Crab. John Stamos took on the role of Chef Louis, Sara Bareilles played Ariel and Darren Criss played Prince Eric.
The menacing but side splittingly funny Wilson sported a huge blonde wig and glittery black ball gown as she rebelled in the role of the evil sea witch.
The comedian, actress and writer is an advocate for body positivity and she owned the stage whilst she sang her solo ‘Poor Unfortunate Souls’.
The overall production of The Little Mermaid was stripped back but a full 71-piece orchestra and all-star cast carried the show which took place at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
52-year-old Jodi Benson, who played Ariel in the original 1989 film, joined Sara Bareilles and the rest of the cast on stage to sing ‘Part Of Your World’.
In 1990 the music for the film won multiple awards including an Oscar and a Golden Globe for the best score.
Fans of the Disney film may be able to look forward to even more as Disney announced it’s plans to create a live action remake starring Chloë Grace Moretz.
Working Title and Universal are collaborating on the potential reboot which would join other remakes such Cinderella, Jungle Book and Maleficent following their recent success.
Although nothing has been officially confirmed yet we are able to look forward to the remake of Beauty and The Beast, starring Emma Watson, which is due to be released in March next year.
