Transphobic ‘family’ group launch bizarre, anti-trans music video aimed at Target (VIDEO)

Joe Williams May 25, 2016

A anti-trans group has launched a fresh attack on Target for its pro-transgender stance.

Faith2Action has released a sinister new recruitment video for its latest protest.

The “Don’t Target Our Daughters Day” protest will take place on June 4 outside Target stores across the US.

Faith2Action, describes itself as a “pro-active launching pad for the pro-family movement” and hopes the video will encourage supporters to join the group in its boycott.

The bizarre clip portrays a young girl being attacked in a bathroom stall.

Lyrics of the accompanying song include the line: “No matter how loud it’s shouted, sin is not a civil right. Calling evil good will never make it right.”

Organisers say the upcoming protest will be a “moment to stand together”, with plans to rally outside Target to warn shoppers about “Target’s open door policy to men (including predators and sex offenders) into the ladies restrooms and fitting rooms.”

“It’s time to tell Target to stop ‘Targeting our Daughters’—from the sidewalk outside their stores,’ wrote Faith2Action’s founder Janet Porter.

She also claimed that it was “time to take [the boycott of Target] to another level.”

The video is only the latest attempt by transphobic groups to rally people to their cause, after a fake Facebook post went viral last month, aimed scaring people into joining protests by claiming that Target is installing urinals in women’s bathrooms.

More than a million people people have joined the boycott of the superstore in recent weeks, after it confirmed that transgender people were able to use their preferred bathroom.

The company said it “welcomes transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

A number of protesters have taken to disrupting Target stores directly – with one man sparking a lockdown in Illinois, while in another incident a woman waved a Bible while warning customers “the devil will rape your children”.
