Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel have treated fans to a surprise reunion.

Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel have come together again to do a duet of the song ‘For Good’ from the famed musical, Wicked.

The pair performed the song as part of the ‘Out of Oz: Studio Sessions‘ in honour of Wicked producer, David Stone.

Fans all over the world were delighted to see the pair reunite – the last time they performed together was in 2004.

Last Christmas, a performance of the show – which has a garnered a huge LGBT fanbase – saw two of Oz’s flying monkeys get engaged in front of delighted fellow cast members.

Daniel Robinson and his fiancé Josh Daniel Green, got engaged on the stage at the Gershwin Theatre on Christmas Day.

During the curtain call, when the cast gathered as though they were preparing for a photo call, Robinson pulled Green forward and popped the question.

They both play flying monkeys in the wildly popular Oz prequel.

The composer behind the hit musical – Stephen Schwartz – recently said he will not allow the show to be performed anywhere in North Carolina until the state repeals its anti-LGBT law.

In March, the North Carolina Republicans passed a law which voids all local ordinances protecting LGBT rights, and permits businesses to discriminate against LGBT people on the grounds of religious belief.

The new law, signed by Republican Governor Pat McCrory, also bans transgender students in public schools from using their preferred bathroom.

McCrory’s decision has attracted a legal challenge as well as a growing boycott of the state.
