A self-proclaimed “redneck” has again commented perfectly on trans bathroom issues in the US.

Trae Crowder, a “redneck” comedian, has posted a video around the boycott of Target by 700k people at the hands of the American Family Association (AFA), over the store’s pro-trans bathroom policy.

Trea

Last week Crowder posted a video brilliantly tearing down the arguments used by some in defence of laws in North Carolina and Mississippi which limit the rights of trans people to use a gender-appropriate bathroom.

The retail giant on Tuesday said customers at its stores may use the bathroom which is appropriate to their gender identity, not the sex stated on their birth certificate, as dictated by such laws.

In the latest video he reminds those who have signed up to a petition to boycott Target over the policy, announced last week, which means trans people can use a bathroom which is appropriate to their gender identity, that the store really doesn’t care if they threaten a boycott.

He jokes that they will “go on over to Walmart” where the “Duck Dynasty sh*t is at anyway”, and says there are other, much more important things people could be talking about, if they weren’t boycotting a store like Target for being tolerant of transgender people.

Crowder adds that he finds it difficult living in the South as a non-religious person, saying: “I can’t even go to a goddamn potluck without having to thank some space fairy for the broccoli casserole!”

And in the final lines of the video, says: “Stop trying to pass off your bigotry as a family issue because, speaking as a father – that’s bulls**t”.

Frankly, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
