Sharon Osbourne comes out as bisexual, regrets not experimenting with women

Joe Williams April 21, 2016

The former X Factor judge says its ‘too late’ to explore her sexuality.

Sharon Osbourne has revealed she is bisexual, saying she regrets never sexually experimenting with women when she was younger.

The 63-year-old TV star came out whilst during a discussion on sexuality during an appearance on US chat show The Talk.

“I always think everybody is gay – so am I,” she said.

“I am not a little bit gay, I am extremely interested in the fact of what I missed out on. But it is too late now.”

The staunch LGBT advocate also commented on her former X Factor boss Simon Cowell’s sexuality, admitting that people always ask her whether the music mogul is secretly gay.

“He does have a very gay-ish — which I think is fabulous — air about him!” she joked.

In 2014, Osbourne claimed she still knew lots of gay people in the entertainment industry who were in the closet, but used women as beards.

“Don’t you find there are – not naming names – a lot of people inside this industry and outside who have women as beards?

“They live a lie. I’m not condemning them, but it’s sad that people do have to do that and they don’t have the wherewithal or the strength to live the lives that they were born to lead.”

She was also recently accused of stealing Sir Elton John’s boyfriend during the early years of their friendship.

The Candle in the Wind star, who has been friends with Osbourne for decades, said way before she married Ozzy, she had stolen away one of his lovers during a hotel stay.

“Years ago – and I’m talking about years ago – I would stay at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel with my boyfriend at the time, and he disappeared,” he said.

“He didn’t come back to the room and I found out years and years later that he had been with Osbourne,” he revealed.
