Pat Boone slams ‘Satanic’ SNL skit about baker who won’t make ‘gay’ cake

Veteran actor and singer Pat Boone has hit out at Saturday Night Live over a skit which featured a Christian baker who refused to make a ‘gay’ cake.

In the clip, a nice innocent baker is minding her own business when two evil gays come in and force her to “spit in the face of God” by making the cake.

When she refuses, the pair then hire a “Jewish lawyer” – who insists that she publicly affirm that God is gay in order to drop the case.

However, she finds an ally in her state’s conservative Governor, who decides to help pass a religious freedom law so she can deny goods and basic services to gay people.

But Pat Boone has hit out at the skit for mocking his film ‘God’s Not Dead 2’ – in which a fictional teacher faces persecution for not agreeing that God is dead.

He told the Hollywood Reporter: “This skit is diabolical. God has only one real enemy — Satan. Satan ridicules faith, and they’re taking Satan’s side.

“They’re also ridiculing me and the film, telling impressionable young people not to see it because it’s ridiculous.

“Then they throw in that the lawyer is Jewish to make the Christian look even worse, but it’s just anti-Semitic.”

“As much as I’ve enjoyed SNL… they went over the line, and believers in God deserve an apology.”

Seemingly warning the skit-writers of divine retribution, he threatened: “They answer to the one they defame, and there are consequences.”

He added: “This skit was outright sacrilege. They know if they did this to Muslims they’d have to be put into the witness protection program.

“There’s nothing sacred at SNL — except maybe the words ‘Mohammad’ or ‘Allah.’ They’d never take those names in vain, but when they called God a ‘boob man,’ they took his name in vain.”
