Pop sensation, Iggy Azalea, has opened up about rumours she’s heard about herself since becoming famous – including one that said she was trans.

Speaking to Andy Cohen on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, the singer revealed that people believed she used to be a boy called Corey.

“The craziest rumour that I’ve ever heard, that really went around, was that I had a sex change when I turned 18 and that I was born with a penis and my name was Corey,” she said.

“Why would my name be Corey?

“It would be Liam, that’s my boy name. My mum always said if I was a boy I’d be named Liam.”

While the Fancy star admits she was born and identifies as female, she has said she’s had other cosmetic work done.

Last year, she told Seventeen Magazine that she had got a nose and boob job.

She said if it’s “something that’s obvious” why would you try to hide it.

“Some people are like, ‘It’s contouring!’ Yeah, contouring with a chisel,” she added.

Last year, Nick Jonas was forced to stand in for the Iggy at a Pride event, when she dropped out due homophobic comments she had made when she was younger.
