Historians have made an awkward discovery about Adolf Hitler’s penis

Hitler may have only had one ball… but that might not have been all he was lacking in the bedroom department.

Two historians have made a rather unusual claim about the Nazi leader.

In their new book ‘Hitler’s Last Day’, Jonathan Mayo and Emma Craigie claim to have unearthed medical records which show Hitler’s extensive genital abnormalities.

The pair claim that as well as an undescended testicle, the leader of the Third Reich suffered from a condition that left him with a ‘micropenis’ – less than two inches long.

The pair say records show he suffered from hypospadias – a rare condition that may have left him needing to urinate from a hole on the underneath of the penis shaft, instead of the tip.

According to the Telegraph, the pair wrote: “Hitler himself is believed to have had two forms of genital abnormality: an undescended testicle and a rare condition called penile hypospadias in which the urethra opens on the under side of the penis.”

It would go some way to explaining Hitler’s apparent lack of sex life and unwillingness to be seen naked, with some claiming that he was asexual.

However, some different accounts suggest he did enjoy a “regular” sex life with wife Eva Braun, with whom he committed suicide in 1945.

Unsubstantiated claims that Hitler had homosexual tendencies first arose as wartime propaganda – but have become a staple of anti-LGBT conspiracies.

Despite the Nazis persecuting thousands of homosexuals during the Holocaust, a number of extremists continue to claim that Hitler was gay, in an attempt to link the Nazis to the modern LGBT movement.
