The video for ‘Feel Me Now’, shows Gerard with his boyfriend, but the happy scenes are intercut with scenes of violence.

Warning, the below video shows scenes of domestic violence

The video was shot at the famed Hotel Cortez in LA, the same place American Horror Story: Hotel was filmed.

As well as the song, the video also contains statistics and shocking figures about domestic violence.

The 23-year-old spoke to the Huffington Post to say he drew on his personal experiences for the song.

He said he wanted to “show that domestic and sexual violence is prevalent in the gay community just as much as with our straight allies.”

“Men are battered, too, and there need to be more resources for men to turn to and be taken seriously,” he continued.
