The best-selling singer says she will always love and support her son – ‘no matter what.’

She may be a multi-award winning superstar, but it seems Adele may be on track to win yet another prize – coolest parent of the year!

The singer has yet again proven herself to be one of the world’s most down-to-earth celebrities by admitting she cares very little about her son’s sexuality.

During an interview with Time magazine, the ‘Hello’ songstress discussed parenthood and how excited she is about watching son Angelo grow up.

“He makes me so proud of myself, and he makes me like myself so much,” she told the magazine.

“And I’ve always liked myself. I’ve never not liked myself. I don’t have hangups like that.

“But I’m so proud of myself that I made him in my belly. Cooked him in my belly and then he came out of me! This human who’s suddenly walking around and doing his own thing.

“I can’t wait to know who his best friends are going to be, who his girlfriend or his boyfriend is going to be or what movies he likes.

“Whatever my kid wants to do or be I will always support him no matter what”.

However, the singer isn’t the first A-Lister to impress us with her amazing approach to parenting.

Kate Winslet’s reaction to her son Joe asking whether she would prefer if he was gay or straight won her a legion of LGBT fans back in 2011.

The Grammy and Golden Globe winning actress described how she was told by her son that one day he “might have a boyfriend”, or a girlfriend.

When asked which she would prefer, she responded amazingly.

She said: “It doesn’t make any difference to me.”

Meanwhile, fellow actress Angelina Jolie has openly discussed her and Brad Pitt’s child John – who has been exploring their identity since the age of three.

“She wants to be a boy… So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers,” said Jolie.

Brad and Angelina have since been heavily praised for allowing John to explore their gender identity.

In December 2014, the Jolie-Pitt family announced their support for the eight-year-old to self-identify.
