Glee star Chris Colfer is in the new Ab Fab movie
It could have been said that the Ab Fab movie had reached peak gay interest with the announcement of the casting of nearly 100 drag queens.
Or with the casting of Joan Collins.
Or the casting of Emma Bunton.
But now the makers of the film have revealed that Glee’s own Chris Colfer will also be starring in the film.
The announcement was made on on the movies Facebook earlier today, and already fans have expressed their delight at the news of the casting.
One commenter on facebook said “I have died and gone to gay heaven. That is…well…absolutely fabulous.”
It is unknown what part Colfer will play, whether it will be a cameo or a bigger part, but that does not seem to matter to the fans of the cult show.
Colfer will appear in a packed out cast that includes Kim Kardashian West, Jane Horrocks, Dawn French, Kate Moss and Lulu alongside Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley as Edina and Patsy.
The Ab Fab movie has been getting a lot of attention since its announcement earlier in the year.
Co-creator of the show Jennifer Saunders added to the excitement around the film by announcing that she hoped to cast nearly 100 drag queens in the film.
