Boxer who appeared in gay porn film admits lying about being drugged
Yusaf Mack came out as bisexual as he confessed to lying about being forced into a gay porn film.
Last week, the boxer who appeared in a gay adult film claimed he was drugged and violated by the adult film company who produced the video.
The sports supremo said he was fully conscious during the performance in the gay porn film, before issuing a public apology.
“This is an issued public apology from my heart,” he said in a statement.
“I was completely aware and fully conscious during the film.”
The boxer’s apology comes after the company behind the movie – DawgPoundUSA.com – furiously denied the claims and threatened legal action against Mack.
Mack originally claimed he was suffering financial hardship when the company reached out to him on Facebook.
Throughout the ‘controversy’, the sportsman has stated that he is not attracted to men.
“My whole life, I’ve been what they call a whoremonger. I love females. The only time I touch a man is when I’m in the ring fighting,” he told Philly.com.
However, he has now admitted that he made the whole story up – before coming out as bisexual.
“I did participate in the adult film because at the time I needed money but also because I am a bisexual man,” he admitted.
“Meaning I enjoy safely being intimate with whomever I choose.”
In a statement released following Mack’s allegations, a spokesman for the company said: “DawgPoundUSA.com is a reputable company which has produced high quality videos of men-of-colour since 2002.
“At no time have we ever coerced or drugged any of our models. The claims made by Mr. Mack are false, slanderous, and vehemently denied on our part.
“We intend to take all legal steps necessary to protect our good name and reputation against these patently false and preposterous claims.”
It remains to be seen whether or not the company will still take legal action against the boxer.
