Musician Jase Dillan exacted revenge on a man who she says filmed her crotch in the street.

Dillan, from the US city of Boston, posted a video she made after she says the man filmed her crotch and behind without her permission.

The singer said she had seen the man filming several other women in the street, as well as herself.

Creep

In response, she followed him for two minutes, filming him and asking if he felt uncomfortable as a result.

Despite the man telling her to go way, Dillan persists, asking him to delete the footage off his camera.

“I’m videotaping you the way you were videotaping me,” she says. “I’m sorry, am I making you uncomfortable? You don’t like being filmed without your permission?”

“You don’t like being filmed without permission?” she goes on. “Because that’s what you’ve been doing. You have footage of me on that camera … Maybe you’ll think twice next time you want to be a creepy f**king dirtbag.”

She notes in the video that the man is wearing a ring on his finger.

The video has been viewed over 720k times and has been celebrated by many, including a number of anti-harassment campaigners.

“This happens everywhere, not just on Newbury St., not just in Boston,” says Dillan. “Women are expected to stay quiet.”

Dillan has asked for the man to come forward, or for others to help identify him.

In September, a video surfaced of a BBC journalist being sexually harassed whilst reporting on sexual harassment.
