Out MP Ben Bradshaw storms out of ‘f**king shambles’ Labour meeting

Labour’s former Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw stormed out of a Parliamentary Labour Party meeting yesterday – branding it a ‘f**king shambles’.

Mr Bradshaw is one of Labour’s most influential LGB politicians, and previously served as Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport under Gordon Brown.

He recently stood for the party’s deputy leadership, but came last with just 9.6% of the vote.

However the MP for Exeter – who is not serving as a shadow minister under new Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn – signalled his unhappiness yesterday evening at a meeting of the party’s MPs.

According to a number of reporters, Mr Bradshaw stormed out of the Parliamentary Labour Party meeting over the stances of Mr Corbyn and Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell on a fiscal charter.

Storming out of the meeting, he shouted: “It’s a total f***ing shambles.”

Mr Bradshaw is no stranger to outbursts. He caused a stir at the PinkNews Awards last year – when he shouted down Minister for Women and Equalities Nicky Morgan.

The Labour MP defended shouting at the Tory minister for voting against same-sex marriage, claiming “she was lucky not to be heckled twice”.
