Citing body image and undue pressure, Cara Delevingne appears to have quite modelling.

The star made the revelation in an interview with the Times.

She said she has at least decided to stop modelling for a while, after the pressure to look perfect led her to get psoriasis.

“I was, like, fight and flight for months. Just constantly on edge,” she said. “It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse.” Her stress got so bad that she developed psoriasis, and makeup artists had to paint foundation over her breakouts.

“I am not doing fashion work anymore, after having, like, psoriasis and all that stuff,” the 23-year-old said. “Modelling just made me feel a bit hollow after a while. It didn’t make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was…I felt so old.”

Going on, she cited her feminist background in saying that feeling forced to pose nude, or in sexual ways, made her “feel sick”.

She said: “I am a bit of a feminist and it makes me feel sick… It’s horrible and it’s disgusting.”

Going on, the Paper Town actor said she wants to stand up for other women.

“I am very good at standing up for myself now, and for other people,” Delevingne said.

“If there is injustice I will flip out. If someone is crossing a line, they will know about it and so will everyone else.”

The actor and model clashed with interviewers during an extremely cringe-inducing spot on US morning television last month.

The actress has previously avoided discussing her relationships, but in a new interview with Vogue, she recently talked about struggling with her sexuality while growing up.
