8 amazing photos from Brighton Pride!

Brighton’s Pride parade drew huge crowds this morning, as revellers lined the streets for the city’s celebrations.

According to organisers, over 160,000 people were expected to attend the event this year, to celebrate the event’s 25th birthday.

The sun shone brightly on the festival goers – despite an earlier bomb scare threatening to disrupt the day’s events.

Activists, party goers and drag performers from across the world attended.

But Brighton Pride just wouldn’t be the same without the legendary “oldest gay in the village” George Montague, who rode a specially decorated scooter this year celebrating his recent wedding nuptials.

Performers are also taking to the stage in Preston Park, with Fatboy Slim and Ella Henderson set to perform this evening, among others.
