Donald Trump gives out rival Lindsey Graham’s mobile number during speech

Donald Trump has turned on another anti-gay Republican Presidential wannabe – reading out his personal phone number during a speech, leading to a barrage of abusive calls.

Mr Trump has so far blustered his way through a shambolic campaign – claiming that Mexican immigrants include “rapists” and bring “drugs and crime” – and insisted he believe in ‘traditional’ marriage despite being married three times.

It was later alleged that the reality TV star – who has already been sacked by NBC – paid actors $50 each to pretend to support him at his Presidential launch.

However, Mr Trump appears to have sunk to a new low – reading out the personal phone number of one of his rivals, fellow Presidential hopeful Lindsey Graham, during a speech.

Ranting during a televised speech about a previous encounter, where Graham asked him for a donation, Trump recalled: “Lindsey Graham says to me, please, please whatever you can do…

“He gave me a number, and I found the card! I wrote the number down. I don’t know if it’s the right number. Let’s try it. [Trump reads out the number, which PinkNews will not publish]. It’s three or four years ago, so maybe it’s an old number.”

It was in fact Graham’s real personal mobile number – though it now goes through to voicemail.

Speaking to a Politico journalist who dialled the number, Graham said: “I wonder what caused that [influx of calls]”.

“When it comes to the Donald, nothing surprises me anymore… it’s just too bad, really”.

Mr Graham is running on a platform of military experience – but appeared unaware that trans people were still banned from service when questioned about the issue.

Graham – who has never been married and has no children – has consistently denied rumours about his sexuality, after being branded “ambiguously gay” by a political opponent last year.

The Republican, a strong opponent of LGBT rights, has claimed he would rotate the position of First Lady between his friends and family members if he becomes President.

Responding to rumours about his sexuality on another occasion, Graham joked about whether he was having a secret affair with Ricky Martin.

He joked: “Maybe I’m having a clandestine affair with Ricky Martin. I know it’s really gonna upset a lot of gay men — I’m sure hundreds of ’em are gonna be jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge — but I ain’t available. I ain’t gay. Sorry.”
