Gandalf and Dumbledore to marry this weekend opposite the Westboro Baptist Church
The Westboro Baptist Church may get its chance to picket the wedding of Dumbledore and Gandalf, as the wizards are getting married this weekend.
The adamantly homophobic Westboro Baptist Church last month threatened to picket the imaginary wedding of Dumbledore and Gandalf.
The threat came after the fundamentalist US Church read on PinkNews that Harry Potter author JK Rowling had endorsed the marriage of her gay character, Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore and Gandalf, played by out actor Sir Ian McKellan.
Planting Peace and Equality House, which is located across the street from the WBC will this weekend take the opportunity to stage a wedding between the two legendary wizards.
The Dumbledore Gandalf wedding will take place on Sunday 7 June.
The Rainbow House opened in 2013 opposite the WBC.
Earlier last month, The Westboro Baptist Church inadvertently declared its hatred for the Ivory Coast, after printing the Irish flag backwards on protest posters.
