A video game shop has responded brilliantly to vandals who smashed their way in and spray-painted “gay” on the windows.

Video game shop responds perfectly to vandals who scrawled ‘gay’ on their window

A Reddit user shared the photo of the store after it was the victim of a break-in, with the thugs smashing through the door to get in, before spray-painting “gay” on the window.

However, the owners of the store were not deterred – painting a rainbow themselves on the remaining window, before adding: “Dear vandalist, so what?”

The shop owners also left a message on the boarded, up door, writing: “I assure you, we are OPEN”.

Reddit users responded: “For a moment there I lived in a world where “gay” wasn’t an insult. I guess I was wrong.”

“Then again, after the shop owner’s response I’d be more likely to buy from that particular shop.”

Earlier this month, a Reddit user tricked anti-gay protesters into unwittingly advertise gay porn, after snapping up their expired web domain.

The Carolina protesters held signs pointing to the anti-gay blog ‘Warnings of Wrath’ – which rallies against homosexual “sodomites”.

However, they had neglected to renew their website domain – allowing the Redditor to redirect it to a hardcore gay porn side without tipping off the protesters
