Watch: Acrobat proposes to his boyfriend live on Italy’s Got Talent
In a first for Italy, a gay couple unexpectedly got engaged live on television.
After their performance, one of the dancers asked for a moment to speak, then turned to his boyfriend.
He said: “Tonight we have performed in a ring.
“This ring has brought us together in our work and our passion and our love, I would love to know – ”
He then got down on one knee, to cheers and applause from the crowd.
They embraced and kissed, live on television.
The show’s host: “I swear that this marriage proposal was not in the line-up.”
