Leaflets linking homosexuality to Hitler and the Moors Murderers handed out in Dublin

Joe Williams April 29, 2015

Homophobic leaflets likening homosexuals to paedophiles and gang rapists have been handed out in Dublin.

The leaflet, shared on Facebook by prominent Dublin drag queen Panti Bliss, makes a number of outrageous and bizarre statements, going so far as to liken homosexuals and bisexuals to Adolf Hitler and the Moors Murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.

It claims: “The Moors Murderers – bisexuals, a man and woman, killed many children, boys and girls. E.g. Leslie Ann Downey, 10, whom they tortured to death while tape-recording her pleas for mercy and taking pornographic photos of her.

“Politicians, liking homosexuality, paid no attention. It is said that homosexual centres sell, or direct people to, sexual torture aids.”

Whilst comparing homosexuals to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, the leaflet also takes the opportunity to link gay people to paedophiles and gang rapists.

It says: “As Hitler was homosexual, the EU avoids the word, protecting all sexual orientations: but e.g. pedophilia [sic], sexual torture and gang rape are all orientations.”

It also states that leaders of the LGBT movements in the UK and Ireland favour “legalising pedophilia [sic]”.

The Republic of Ireland is set to vote on May 22 on a proposal to introduce civil same-sex marriage.

In recent weeks, a host of famous faces and public figures have come out in support of equal marriage, including television star Mrs Brown, Grammy award winner singer Hozier and YouTube sensation Riyadh Khalaf.

Panti Bliss was named Ireland’s ‘Person of the Year’ in 2014.
