After fighting a battle to help get Wisconsin’s same-sex marriage ban overturned, this couple is now embroiled in another dispute.

Karina Willes and Kami Young are now battling to get both of their names on their daughter’s birth certificate.

The certificates in the state currently only list a mother and a father.

The couple from the Milwaukee area say their 1-year-old daughter Olyvia “couldn’t be any more loved”, but the only name currently listed on her birth certificate is Young’s.

Young gave birth to Olyvia in 2014, after the couple used donated sperm.

They said their request to the vital records office had so far gone unanswered, reports WISN 12 News.
