Is this the weirdest protest against same-sex marriage ever?

A pastor has protested against same-sex weddings – by dressing a horse up in a wedding gown.

Pastor Edward James of Bertha Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi, spoke out after a judge in the state ruled the ban on same-sex weddings to be unconstitutional.
However, his protest against the decision got a bit weird when he decided to borrow a horse, and dress it up as a bride.

The church leader stood next to the horse, holding a sign that reads: “Do you take this horse to be your unnatural wedded spouse to have and to hold?

“This might even be possible if the ban on same-sex marriage is lifted. Where do we draw the line?”

He told the Jackson Clarion-Ledger: “Although [the protest] is ridiculous, so is the same-sex marriage status.

“That’s the point I’m trying to convey to Mississippians today, and I’m hoping that Judge Reeves will reconsider his ruling and that Mississippi will stay a state that will only recognize marriage between a man and a woman.”

Same-sex marriage is currently legal in 35 states. For clarity’s sake, human-horse marriages remain illegal in all 50.
