Gym security guards ‘go undercover’ in sauna to stop men having gay sex

Nick Duffy December 6, 2014

Security guards at a gym in Austria are stripping off and going undercover – to stop men having sex in the sauna.

Staff at the Parkbad Fitness Center in Linz, Austria, decided to go on an all-out offensive to tackle the problem of gay hookups pushing away other customers.

To stop their centre becoming a cruising hotspot, the company hired “undercover enforcement officers” – who pose as normal customers, waiting in the hot room for any men who are looking for sex.

As part of their ‘undercover’ role, the guards had to strip completely naked – giving up their uniform to ‘blend in’ with the Austrian clientèle.

It is not known how the naked guards apprehend men – but the centre says that two pairs of men had already been caught having sex in the sauna.

They have been banned from returning to the gym.
