Boy George: People always ask me ‘do you think my friend is gay?’
Singer Boy George has revealed the one gay-related thing people always ask him is “meet my friend, do you think he’s gay?”
The Culture Club singer spoke to HuffPost recently on the question of how people addressed him after coming out.
He said: “People would say ‘you gave me confidence to deal with my sexuality’,” before adding, “Most people always say to me, ‘Meet my friend, do you think he’s gay?’ I get that a lot.”
He added: “I have to say, a lot of the time I don’t really know. I don’t really have good gaydar.
“Though if someone’s a mincing fairy, well obviously they’re gay.”
