An American columnist has claimed that rights activist Dan Savage should be sent to Iraq because he is worse than the Westboro Baptist Church.

Molotov Mitchell made the claim in a WorldNetDaily video segment.

He was reacting to Adam Hills’ challenge to the notoriously anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church to fly to Iraq and save Christians from persecution.

He said: “All Dan Savage does is complain about how oppressive America is towards gays, and he’s done far worse things than the Westboros.

“I mean, the Westboros put offensive things up on cardboard, but Dan Savage, he brags about how he’s tried to infect conservatives with diseases.

“What is Dan fighting for? The right for gay people to marry?

“In many countries, Dan, gays don’t have the right to breathe.

“That gets me thinking… maybe Dan should hop on that plane with the Westboros and head out to Iraq.

“If you really believe in standing up to people who threaten the gay way of life, then why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and take a direct flight to Iraq where you can challenge the people who hang gay people?

“But Dan Savage would never do that – he’s not a good enough person to do that. The Westboros may be mean, they may be terrible, but they’re still better than Dan Savage.”
