PinkNews Editor Joseph Patrick McCormick will soon cycle from London to Brighton to raise money for leading HIV charity the Terrence Higgins Trust (THT).

On 7 September 2014, Mr McCormick will don some lycra and cycle the 54 miles from Clapham Common to Brighton.

Commenting on taking up the challenge, he said: “I am so proud to be cycling for such a worthy cause, and am really excited to get on my bike and raise some cash for THT.

“I am extremely grateful to anyone who sponsors me, and I can’t think of a more deserving charity which does such amazing work, and which also means a lot to me personally.”

Money raised from participating in the London to Brighton Cycle will help THT to support people living with, and affected by, HIV and poor sexual health.

THT is the largest voluntary sector provider of HIV and sexual health services in the UK, running services out of local centres across Great Britain.

The Doitforcharity.com London to Brighton Cycle Ride is a fundraising challenge starting in London and finishing on the Brighton sea front. Over 2000 people are expected to take part, raising funds for different charities.
