A music video by the first openly trans woman to perform on Eurovision has been taken down, after the family of a young person said they did not give their permission to be featured in the video.

The video, intended to promote Tel Aviv Gay Pride, featured Dana International, a trans star, dancing in a synagogue with religious children present.

The Director said the concept of the video was clear, but the family of the boy, 11 or 12, disputed this, and said he was told it was about tourism.

The annual pride parade will take place on Friday.

Dana made history as the first openly transgender woman to win Eurovision back in 1998. She returned to the competition in 2011.
